About

When it comes to surviving, we all have room for improvement.

Andre Quiles, a seasoned martial artist with a lifelong dedication to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai. My journey began with the Gracie Family in Brazil and continued at the renowned Chute Boxe Academy, where I trained alongside some of MMA’s greatest fighters. My competitive career includes multiple São Paulo State, Brazilian National, and World Championship titles, along with an undefeated record in Vale Tudo (No Rules Bared Fights), all won by submission or knockout.

Driven by a passion for Law Enforcement, I have spent over 30 years training officers, even before becoming a Deputy Sheriff. Recognizing a critical gap in police training—specifically in weapon entanglement during grappling—I developed specialized tactics to address this need. My goal is to empower officers with the skills necessary to operate effectively and legally, ensuring the safety of both the public and themselves.

HOW

To fill the gaps in traditional law enforcement training, I created the CPR (Control, Protect, and Restrain) system. This system, rooted in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and real-world combat experience, focuses on weapon-based entanglements and self-defense.

  • Protect: Avoid strikes and stabs.
  • Retain: Secure your weapon.
  • Control: Gain and maintain control.
  • Disarm: Neutralize threats.
  • Submit: Ensure voluntary compliance.
  • Restrain: Master cuffing techniques.

As the co-founder of Chute Boxe Academy Arizona-USA, I’ve established a world-class facility where the majority of our students are law enforcement or military personnel. Our approach integrates weapons into Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai fundamentals, setting a new standard in combative training.
